What should our budget be for our second wedding?

with 2 comments

With our first wedding, our wedding budget was $1,000. Me and my husband are planning the wedding of our dreams for sometime in 2011. There won’t be any guests or family invited. Nor will there be a formal reception. The only people who will be present will be me, my husband and our offspring. We’re planning something quiet, romantic, sexy-ish (mainly attire). We we’re thinking about a $3,000 budget to make this all happen. But not sure if this is to much or to little. Can anyone give me some numbers? Please no rude answers, thank you.

Unless you are doing a destination or something, I wouldn’t see it costing this much.

If I was doing something like you, I would have a nice restaurant section off a part for my family, and then eat there. It would probably cost between 25-45 dollars a plate depending on where you went.

If you wanted to add on a small cake or something, that would be nice.

I still couldn’t see this costing 3000 dollars though.
